Distro: Arch / Debian.My heart longs for Debian, but my need for functionality with with my favorite packages calls for Arch! ... Well, yeah, but I feel like Distrobox kills both sides of the dramatic, romantic feud, no?
DE / WM: Sway.Sway comes first, then Hyprland, then KDE Plasma, then Niri. KDE with Krohnkite (A dynamic tiling extension for KWin). I'm rather undecided on SwayFX, but it seems... good. Maybe better than Sway, maybe worse; I haven't much experience with it. GNOME is abso-fucking-lutely at the bottom, though I do respect the fact that people can make it look and feel good. But without r/unixporn level ricing... just- no.
Terminal: I don't care..Kitty, I guess, for viu? I would say Konsole, but that's the KDE default, so that's more stockholm syndrome (as of writing, my main PC's a Steam Deck running SteamOS 3.0, so...)
Shell: Zsh.What'd I do without my fast-syntax-highlighting or zsh-autosuggestions?
Fetch: HyFetch.I use the "Burger" flag with Fastfetch as a backend. On terminal boot, I run Fastfetch variants (with silly logos) if the terminal is wide, or pfetch, UwUfetch, or a randomized cutefetch if the terminal is thin. A fortune-piped Cowsay stegosaurus for either width (I use an autotiling layout, so there are only really 2 possible widths.)
Menus: Kando + Ulauncher.Ulauncher works as a sort of catch-all for applications I deem unworthy of being in my Kando menu.
File Manager: Midnight Commander?.I mean, I use Dolphin, but it's more out of habit? I wanna use MC! Honestly, I prefer using CLI, even over TUI...
Text Editor: Neovim.Not that I know how to use it effectively... I'm just in it for the TUI, and nano feels a bit to pampering. No hate towards it, however, unlike GNOME...
Image Viewer: qView.Minimalist... / viu.No, I am not above using viu. Yes, I know I'm gross... I like CLI...
Music Player: jammer.A TUI or two is good for the soul. Still prefer CLI, but jammer's an exception... Yes I know it claims to be CLI, but, ehhh...
Media Player: mpv.I have grown to regard it higher than VLC! Feels more like CLI! Plus, mpv is a dependency for mpvpaper.
Browser: Firefox + Tor Browser.Firefox for regular usage, Tor for... uh... things. I mean, the Tor browser is a Firefox fork or something, so I basically just use Firefox at the end of the day.
System Monitor: btop++.Not gonna lie, btop++ got me feeling a little flustered! What a beauty! Plus, CLI/TUI...

Of all file types, Markdown files are my absolute favorite! Something about it is just... perfect! That ".md" is nothing like that hideous ".txt" or miserable ".docx"....On an unrelated note, have you heard of Obsidian?

I play OU Doubles (VGC can bite me), and this is my favorite set in existence... for that game mode! Or at least something like this; I've never been set on the EV spread... The Assaut Vest and EVs are supposed to buff her Special Defense to the point of absurdity while Stamina (and perhaps the EV spread depending on how the winds of fate make me allocate it that day) buffs her Defense. From that, she has two stab moves, for obvious reasons, Body Press for coverage and to capitalize on her high Defense, and Electro Shot because (a), it's her signature move, (b), it's more coverage, (c), it's just a good move in general IMO, and (d), it gives her a powerful offensive boost.


On a partially related note, I have a shiny Archaludon that hit me with FIVE critical hits in a row while I was trying to catch it!.FIVE FUCKING TIMES! That has a 1/245 chance of occuring! Or, in other words, a 1 in 7962624 chance of occuring. And no, it wasn't using a move with a boosted crit chance, it used Dragon Claw for all 5 hits! And this was a SHINY! Sandwhich hunted, but still; the quintessential "rare Pokémon" did this! So, realizing I had just caught the God of Luck, I named him "1/24^5", but perhaps "Tyche" would be more fitting...
